About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world, love the world, change the world.

ABOUT ME

I sometimes think I'm getting younger rather than older. I try to keep a wildly positive outlook, though I can't say I'm always totally successful. I love to sing, dance, play guitar, cook, read, and write. I love being outdoors, whether I am wandering in a big city or walking through the woods.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a precious gift. Time is the space in which movement of our lives takes place. Space is the form of the momentum of our past as it interacts with the present, allowing us to change the possibilities of the future. Past, present, and future all exist simultaneously, and this realization is one of many doors through which one can begin to realize the incredible fullness of human power and love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couched surfed in Europe last summer and I had the time of my life. I met some incredible people who were tremendously hospitable, and I try always to keep that feeling of gratitude towards them and the entire community. There are some amazing people out in the world. Don't be afraid to go out and find them!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My time spent couch surfing in Grenoble was amazing. We had planned to bounce around to a few different couches so as not to impose on anyone, but our first host was so kind, he let us take up his whole living room for four nights! Thank you!!

Also, we were very lucky that the weekend we stayed in Grenoble there was a CouchSurfing party, so we got a chance to meet so many great people, eat wonderful food, drink good wine, beer (and Chartreuse!), and dance until we could barely stand. Grenoble is a beautiful city filled with truly amazing people, and it will forever hold a big place in my heart!

Interests

Music, dancing, poetry, good food, good drink, gardening, yoga, wandering in unfamiliar places, bike riding, writing, exciting conversations about important things with open-minded people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list! There is no particular genera that interests me the most. I love art and music and literature that pushes my personal boundaries, and makes possible things that I had never considered before. I love art that inspires me to grow as a person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things are the hardest to describe and share. They are the moments when I feel like I am dissolving into the brine of existence, and every motion of my body is the only thing I could do, the most natural way I could move. And everything around me moves in the most natural way, and I remember that everything is natural and beautiful and amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give voice lessons and other simple music instruction. I can help with English, writing or speaking. I am more than happy to sing for you if you care to listen, and I would love to cook for you as well! Otherwise, I love talking about what interests you the most, and I am willing to learn just about anything!
