Overview
About Me
Planning a trip West to Utah. planning on spending a few days in New Mexico, Moab Utah, and around the area of Denver Colorado.
I have a few months until my license comes in the mail for Counseling so figured I would get on the road and explore. Hoping to hike to some summits. Would love to climb and have the gear for single pitch climbing. Just need a partner! I am an experienced lead climber, but have not done any multi-pitches. Here is my Mountain Project profile https://www.mountainproject.com/user/200411650/greg-hample
I also have a big soft spot for plants. I volunteer for the Philadelphia Orchard Project approximately a 10 hours a week. Where I support community orchards and lead public harvesting on wild fruit bearing plants around the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Staying in a hotel never fulfilled my curiosity of a new town. I always wanted to meet the locals and experience a piece of what it would be like if I grew up in the community.
The other reason is the "couch surfing culture" is congruent with my view on life. Seeing the good in people, making friends and learning from each other. Being hospitable and meeting others who possess the same curiosity and generosity are who I want to surround myself with.
