About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Offering a couch to the universe in hopes that the universe will give provide me a couch when I need it!

ABOUT ME

I try to take a trip each month out to Zion National Park in Utah. I'm a singer-songwriter, and I've got a regular solo show I do at Wildcat Willie's in Springdale, the town right next to Zion.

I'd also like to pick up a couple of regular stops between here and Zion, so I'll be staying in Durango, CO and Green River, UT on the way out and back. I'd like to find a couch to surf on in any of those 3 locations.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm no kind of saint, but I do think I make the world a little bit better of a place by playing music that people like to hear.

I also try to do my part by starting a party whenever I can, wherever I go. It can make for a strange situation at the DMV at 8am on a Thursday morning, but you just never know when the urge is going to strike!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Me and my wife just moved to Longmont. This is a really musical town, which is totally why we ended up here.

There's always a lot of musicians and festival goers coming through, so we'll keep our place open to couchsurfers just about anytime, even on weeknights.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only unofficial couchsurfing from I've playing in a few traveling bands over the years.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now I'm reading "Ishmael", which is about a gorilla that learns to communicate telepathically and puts out an ad to try to save the world.

Also, I listen mainly to podcasts hosted by comedians. My two faves are "WTF" with Marc Maron and "You Made it Weird" with Pete Holmes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm a traveling singer/songwriter. The amazing thing I've done is what I'm doing right now, which is traveling to the most beautiful spots within a 2 day drive of Boulder, CO.

I get to play my music, see the most majestic and beautiful spots in the country, and meet new people all the time. How could it get better than that?

Teach, Learn, Share

I think the world would be a lot better place if we all made more of an attempt to connect with each other. The more people we get to know, the smarter we become. We exchange ideas and improve each other lives. This is the process I want to be a part of.

Let's make the world better - Let's human race better by hanging out and getting to know each other!
