About Me
Hi! I'm Grégoire (should be more convenient for you to call me Greg! I'm used to it!). I'm a french guy in love with the unusual.
I define myself as very curious and I believe that you can not know if something worth the try before you do try it! I apply this in my everyday life in cooking experiences - honestly they are not always great, but I make some effort when someone is around - and in my job - programming can be more creative than you think ;).
During travels and when I'm out, I'm always looking to meet new people to share one drink or to become close friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
What I like about travelling is to discover the comtemporary lifestyle of the people: food, activities, work, etc... And I think that Couchsurfing is the best opportunuity to achieve that goal. To be able to share my experience of the french lifestyle with people from various places or educations would be for me as great as learning new things from these people, to compare our point of view about culture, education, envirronement.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It was my first long journey outside Europe (I was 19), and, as my friends should meet me one week after my arrival in Peru, I was alone. I had one day in Lima before meeting some people in Huaraz so I decided to go visit the city by myself. Short after I got to the Plaza de armas, a guy came talk to me aking if wanted some information about the city. I said yes but some minutes after I recognize I wondered if that wasn't a mistake and if he wasn't doing that for money. After spending nearly an hour with him, that feeling completely disappered as we were discussing so many different things. Finally we spent the whole day together sharing food, ideas. We became friends and are still in touch.
It might be a common experience but for me it was really important as it changed my perception of the others and it taught me that being suspicious can be a barrier in life.
