CURRENT MISSION
Just go with the flow.
ABOUT ME
I'm a small town girl. 50 % of me wants to settle down, 50 % of me wants to see the world and never go home. It's an endless struggle, which I enjoy to the fullest. New people and new places give me goosebumps. That's why I chose a career path that allows me to travel whenever I feel like it: translating (Chinese to German).
PHILOSOPHY
The most dangerous of all world views is the world view of the people who have never looked at the world.
(Alexander von Humboldt)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience was in in a place where I never thought there would be any couchsurfers: China. Two of my colleagues and friends and I went to the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao to enjoy our days off at the beach. We stayed at a extremely lovely and interesting couple's place. I was overwhelmed by how friendly we were welcomed. Also there were two other couchsurfers with a lot of amazing stories. We just stayed there for two nights but still it was an unforgettable time and I think this is the best way to travel. So of course I also welcomed some amazing guys to my home for a few days. We saw many nice places, had some great food and the best time ever. This is just the beginning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One Sunday evening I was coming home with some friends from a conference in northern Germany. We were tired as hell and no one spoke a word as we were passing Hamburg on the highway. Everybody was thinking about the next morning, another fucked up Monday full of work and duty. Sometimes I think German education is aimed towards turning people into robot. We just learn how to think about school, grades, work and salary. There is no place for fun. Anyways, as we were driving, a street sign popped up right in front of us: Amsterdam. In the blink of an eye we were awake. The three of us, a beautiful girl, a confident young man and me, were looking at each other and started to laugh. We didn't really have to say anything to each to decide what we gonna do.
- I will tell you the rest of the story when we meet ;)
