HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Well I have just joined the CS community, after hearing such great stories from people, who have gotten involved. As I'm in a period of life where I have a home base and missing the adventures of the open road,so I want to open my doors and welcome weary feet and friendly faces. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Well my greatest experience hoping cushions happened when I traipsed across the USA in a station wagon, taking in the wonders of the American country side. I been lucky enough to have friend, friends of friends, or just kind souls house me in beds, on couches, on the floor, or the back yard. This trip ran from Spokane, WA to Boston, MA with stops in Montana, South Dakota, Ohio, and up state New York. Then running down the Appalachian Mountains, camping under bridges and beside the local wildlife on down to Gulf Port Mississippi, and over through Texas. Southern hospitality was alive and well, as I had a full tummy and a wonder bed to lay my head. Then it was off to New Mexico and on up to Utah for holiday meals and canyon thrills, in the heart of the Wasatch. With the home stretch including, stops in Salem and Portland Oregon and Olympia, Washington.
