Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Simple : Just to meet people. Detailed : Living in London I had this 'roadtrip in Scotland' idea for years but couldn't manage to find enough friends to join me. A friend recommended to create an event here, which I did. That's how I found my new favourite way of travelling. Since then I've been using CS to organize roadtrips with my 7-seater car around Spain, Europe and even Morocco! Now I travel, host when I can, and join/organize local events Couchsurfing is a travellers' social network, I like its spirit and enjoy as much as I can while it still works! A lot of people here say that CS is about leaving your comfort zone, and they're absolutely right My °1 CS definition : you can look at a profile, but until you meet and spend time with someone, you don't know them.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
- Cutting my hair myself for a couple of years - Travelling alone for a few months on an unknown continent - Flying to the airport where I was working, landing 30mn before my shift starts - Being able to photograph the empty Paris during the pandemic - Driving a high speed train (at low speed though) as a kid - Driving over 30000km in a year, over 8000km in a week, over 1000km in a day while roadtripping - Driving across 4 different countries on the same day while roadtripping. Including Liechtenstein - Going to Liechtenstein
What I Can Share With Hosts
I'd be happy to cook for my hosts or just talk about food. My speciality are the french crepes/galettes, I make them professionally. Depending on the kind of trip I am on, I might as well just want to help as I can. It does feed my mind when there's something I can learn.
My Interests
It's not about the destination, it's about the travel And if it's not about the travel, it's about the people
