About Me

Hi there! I'm Guillermo, but you can call me Will. Originally from Spain, I've been living in Thailand for over 8 years, embracing a lifestyle that blends adventure, cultural richness, and the occasional spontaneity. Whether it’s traveling to new places, or just connecting with people from all corners of the world, I’m all about the experiences that shape us.

I'm a pretty easy-going person and love connecting with others who are open-minded and up for meaningful conversation.

PHILOSOPHY

"Live like you are going to die tomorrow, learn like you are going to live forever." - Gandhi

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here to exchange stories, learn from different cultures, and share a bit of my own. Traveling has taught me that connections are often what make places memorable. I’ve had some incredible experiences meeting locals who introduced me to the heart of their cultures, and I’d love to do the same for others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Cinema is a big passion of mine, and I have a soft spot for films with depth and style. Some of my all-time favorites include Pulp Fiction, John Q, Reservoir Dogs, The Departed, In Time, Forrest Gump, Seven, La vita è bella, Fight Club, American Beauty, and Gran Torino. I love how each film brings something unique and memorable to the table.

Music is another interest, though my taste is pretty versatile – I enjoy just about anything depending on the mood. Electronic music especially hits the spot for nights out.

As for books, I wish I had more time to dive into reading. It’s something I’d love to do more often, but the schedule sometimes has other plans!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving from 4,300 meters, snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, and living in different countries have each been unforgettable adventures. But the best part? Making friends from all over the world – because those connections are what truly make every place feel unique.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m always up for a language exchange or diving into a conversation about managing a business, marketing, or even programming. I have a passion for learning, and I love sharing the knowledge I've picked up along the way. Whether it's helping with practical skills or discussing big ideas, I’m here to exchange insights and learn together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

While I don’t typically use Couchsurfing to find a place to stay, I’m always happy to host when I can. For me, it’s more about the chance to meet new people and share experiences, so if our paths cross, I’d love to offer a welcoming space whenever I’m available.
