About Me

Whatever I would write here, it would make your mind put labels on imaginary me. So it is better if we meet, and if we would be lucky, with time we might get to know each other. Anyway everything is relative and learnt in comparison.

One thing that can give some hint about who I am is my understanding of what is happiness. Happiness is not having fun with friends, going to sea on vacation, reading nice book or having any pleasurable moment. For me happiness is overcoming a problem and realizing that you were able to overcome your fear to fail; and make your life better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because as a human being, I have this need to communicate with people, belong to some group, be appreciated. Sometimes my friends and beloved ones are not always with me, so despite my shyness, I go out of my comfortable, warm, cosy zone and look for new friends, acquiantances, company.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: mostly depends on my mood and life term I am in, I always try to listen to the music of country where I am. E.g. In Germany I opened Eko Fresh and in Portugal I opened Ferra Gaita. But Zemfira, Kino, Sainkho Namytchlak, Daughter will always have place in my playlist.
Movies: all films by and with Woody Allen, Tarantino, Hayao Miyazaki, "Eternal sunshine of spotless mind", "Idiots" by L.v.Trier, "Sheermans march", many more and my own films :)
Books: "Stranger", "Plague" by Alber Camu, "Stories about Nick Adams" Heminguey, Cate Chopins short stories, Maya Angelou's poems, Alice Walker.
