Overview
About Me
I love traveling as it opens my mind to new cultures, languages, and ways of living. Most importantly it allows me to meet people from all walks of life.
I’m run my own wedding film business. If you’re interest to see any of my films, let me know and I’ll send you a link :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently I’m based at home, Cape Town, and want to continue meeting travelers as I like to experience a more diverse social life. Hearing the same people say the same thing all day gets a bit dull 😄
Every now and then I get to travel the world, and when I do, I love to meet locals and learn their ways of living and to fully immerse in the culture. It's also a way for me to save money on rent while traveling, money which I could then use to buy gifts or food for the hosts that provide me a bed to sleep in. I believe in a fair exchange, and wouldn't simply stay at someone's house and give nothing back.
Couchsurfing for me is the best way to experience a city, as you get to meet people in their hometown, and see and experience things you wouldn't get to as a common tourist staying in a hotel.
Interests
I practice yoga and meditation regularly, love to spend time in the mountains or on the beach, I'm a huge movie fan and critic, lover of books from philosophy to spirituality to science and fiction, and also enjoy playing tennis and table-tennis.
