Hi! I'm Ying Xin, but if it's hard to pronounce my chinese name, you can call me Gwen. I’ve relocated to San Jose, California.

I love travelling/ backpacking, it makes me feel really liberated and excited to see the sights, eat the local delicacies and make friends from any part of the world! Interesting countries I’ve been are Egypt, Jordan, Iceland. Hoping to travel more of US this year ;)

I enjoy meeting and connecting with fellow travelers and hosts, be it conversations over a meal, some drinks or exploring the town. It might sound cliche but I really do find joy in making friends all around the world and gaining new perspectives from such meaningful interactions and friendships.

I'm adventurous and game for anything! I've tried Paragliding and Skydiving and loved those activities! I'm hoping to cross Bungee Jumping off my bucket list soon!

I've lived in Taiwan for 4 months and participated in a volunteer project at a village in Laos for 2 weeks.
