Hi there! I’m KuiHai, originally from Shenzhen, the tech city of China. (I set where I live to be Chinatown in New York as a symbolic nostalgia, as I’ve been scattering all parts of me everywhere like Voldemort for the past two years, especially in 2026 I’ve jumped 12 countries before June… 😂😂🇬🇧🇧🇷🇦🇷🇨🇱🇪🇨🇺🇾🇩🇴🇺🇸🇰🇭🇨🇳🇦🇺🇳🇿) From Shenzhen to Shanghai to the world — my journey has always been shaped by movement, curiosity, and people. I’m a cross-disciplinary explorer who spent the past university years bouncing between gemology, jewelry design, psychology, international business, and now Feminism. In Summer 2024, I worked at the Statue of Liberty in New York, meeting travelers from all over the world every day in a fast-paced environment. That experience deepened my love for spontaneous conversations and cultural exchange. I love NYC!!!! In early 2026, I traveled across the UK — London, Birmingham, Sheffield, and Manchester — for my thesis field research, interviewing leading figures in the jewelry industry, including the chairman of the UK National Association of Jewellers and a senior jewelry curator from the V&A Museum in London. Since 2024, I’ve organized Couchsurfing hangouts in New York, London, Shanghai, and Hong Kong — from museum visits to dinners and casual gatherings. I love turning strangers into friends and experiencing cities through local perspectives. I’m also a feminist fighter and activist who has witnessed and experienced too much injustice in life towards women. This perspective shapes how I engage with the world — I value respect, equality, and meaningful conversations. And dreaming about smashing patriarchy. Always happy to explore, share stories, or just wander around together 🗺️♀
