Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Graduated college with a degree in Elementary Education and now I'm more ready than ever to travel the world and see the sights I've been wanting to see for awhile now!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy the adventurous crowd, those who aren't afraid to meet strangers and turn them into friends. I want to remind myself and others who are doubtful or pessimistic, that there are so many good-natured, sweet and friendly people in this world that will bend over backwards for a complete stranger, without expecting much in return. Those are the types of people that I want to surround myself and that is how I hope I am viewed by those who know me.

*With that being said, please do not send me a couchsurfing request if you are only a taker, not a giver. Couchsurfing is not about freeloaders looking for a free place to stay and a generous person to use; it's about swapping cultures, creating memories, and restoring people's faith in humanity. I will gladly host those who seek to take care of their hosts, not just take from their hosts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was one of the three ladies who helped save a woman from killing herself at the top of a mountain while her infant was left in her car.

I've also ridden, bathed and been showered by an elephant in India. One of my favorite memories to date. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about photography as I had my own portrait business for five years now. I love talking about cameras and editing.

I can also teach you about Christianity and the Bible if you show interest.

I would love to learn how to cook various cultural dishes and how to dance too! I love learning about different religions and religious practices as well.

I can share my joy and my love for people and God! I can share many embarrassing stories from my life if you need a laugh.

I can share my goofiness and playful, fun-loving side. I can share with you about what it's like to live in Alaska and help you separate myth from truth. Hint #1: We do not live in igloos. :) I can clean the dishes and do other housework if needed.
