Hi friends, Im Halie! I currently live in Philadelphia. I recently relocated here from Naples, FL. The day I graduated with my BA I boarded a one way flight to start a new life in one of my favorite cities. I'm currently taking a break from the salaried 9-5 "adult" jobs typical of post-graduates in the US to serve/bartend. This allows me the flexibility to save money quickly and take off frequently to do the things I would like.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I feel its a great way to meet like-minded individuals. I've loved to travel ever since I was able to fly alone. Last summer I was traveling Europe for two weeks and couchsurfed twice. Couchsurfing made my experience in Amsterdam and Paris truly memorable! I was able to experience the city from the recommendations and guide of locals rather than from google. My roommate and I plan to take a month to backpack Europe+ more next summer and would like to couchsurf in some of our stops along the way :)
