About Me
ABOUT ME
Hamid is a Civil Engineer from Iran (Persia). He studied his Ph.D. about earthquake and liquefaction in Japan and is currently working for a Japanese company based in Tokyo. Sareh is social worker. At the moment, she is perusing her post-doctoral research at Tokyo Metropolitan Universty.
MY PERSONALITY;
Hamid may seem to be a very serious person in the first glance and at Work, he just is. But in his personal life he's quite different. Sareh is friendly and smiling. She is very hard working and diligent at work.
Friends would find Hamid a humerus person who enjoys helping others as much as he can. Sareh enjoys chatting with different people and gets easily friendly and socialized. She has many good friends and loves passing time with them.
We easily make friends and hardly do we loose them.
PHILOSOPHY
It's almost impossible to make an absolutely true judgment. Trust, but verify...
Give and FORGET....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We're in CS to meet new people and know more about different cultures and feel there are a lot to interchange. Besides, we enjoy exploring different areas of the world.
The idea of couchsurfing was taken up from a friend but we really liked it at once. Something that bothers us a little is that some people assume that couchsurfing is just a free stay and nothing more.
Interests
We're fond of knowing new things, places and people. Unplanned trips and land surfing are my best interests. We enjoy knowing about different cultures and people. Given time and good mood, we also sometimes sing!
Watching the beauty of the nature mesmerizes us and we do our best to respect the earth and nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's definitely a fact that every single place of this world is worth seeing ! But one of my most memorable ones was seeing the high tide time effects on the Persian gulf shore life.
As for the next, in August 2014 I hosted seven people at the same time! I was no way planning to do so but it came out to be a fortunate incident. All people you see in my picture (international house) are good friends of mine now.
Swimming with the whale sharks in Cebu Island, The Philippines is an amazing memory but strangely on the other hand, I don't like the way they humiliated the animals for tourists' joy!
It was also amazing for me to visit the white house on the very day of presidential elections of 2012 in the US.
Let me also mention that Kyoto city in which I lived is still not completely known to me (I only share this shame with CS friends).
Teach, Learn, Share
Given time and space, Hamid would love to discuss about history, politics religion etc. And of course if he finds anyone interested in Civil Engineering, there will be a lot to share as well :)
Sareh is an a professional player of Tar, an old musical instrument of Persia. She can sing nicely as well. She has a lot to share about music, social issues, culture and so on.

Mostly people are very much interested in knowing about my country. I will be glad to give them honest information about its status and background. I also like to know about other countries and their real life style. As well for sure, people may find it interesting to hear some of my couchsurfing experiences.
