ABOUT ME
Hello travellers!
This Dutchie is happy to welcome you in Groningen. I'm a young man, metropolitan but with country-roots. Curly hair but straight vision. Big body and a big heart. Serious mind, but a sunny smile. More a listener than a talker, more a reader than a writer.
Sometimes a real party clown, but in any case present when there's drinking red wine or authentic brewed beers in a low-profile cafe involved. Coffee addict!
My job is organising film festivals and movie events. Besides that, I also like to travel to Belgium and Gemany regularly, attend (international) film festivals, do some mountainbiking and visit friends in different cities.
I am social and very easy-going, so I hope I can make my guests feel comfortable and at ease while staying at my place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am ready for as much CS-experience as possible. That means that requests are welcome: my couch is ready, the beer is cold and the record player is spinning...
Best is visiting during the week, although I work during the day. But don't be afraid to get bored, because you can take my bike and explore the city or the countryside around Groningen.
In the evening i can take you to a great film or we can go on a tour through the nightlife of Groningen.
Within the couchsurf community I am looking forward to meet interesting people to have fun with and who can broaden my view on life.
I am always in for a black coffee, red wine or even better: a nice authentic Belgian beer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A big hosannah so far!
Interests
Everything that's got to do with art and (popular) culture: watching movies, reading books, going to concerts/festivals/exhibitions etc.
I also like cycling and mountainbiking through the city and outside in the countryside. I do a lot of hitchhiking through the Benelux and further into Eastern-Europe.
Other things that make me happy: 2hand shops & flee markets / morning paper with coffee / playing poker or other cardgames / the forest, fields of grass and coastal lines / "She Loves You" from the Beatles
