I am a student at the University of Essex in East England and have been studying as part of an exchange program at the University of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada since September 2015. Now my exchange is over and I am travelling across North America and exploring what this continent has to offer and seeing the beauty of different cities I'm visiting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing as I was recommended by a friend to sign up because it is a fantastic way to meet people while backpacking to different places and experience the cities I visit as a local by meeting locals and learning what is the best thing to do in their area. In addition to meeting locals, I am explicitly avoiding being a classic tourist and doing all the touristy things, but I want to experience local foods and local activities.
