About Me
Hello there 🌞
update: I moved to Mannheim and where I live outside the city in Seckenheim in a beautiful house with beautiful people. I cannot offer a separate room in this house, but there are couches and extra mattresses :)
I am an open-minded person, trying to see the good in everything happening in our lives and to make the best out of it. Currently I am traveling through scandinvia and am therefore not in Maastricht. But if you're there check out the Cafés Bandidos (at Oxfordlaan and Fasos during weekdays) and Preps.
I am passionate about many things (natur, cooking, brainstuff, meditation, handcrafts, environment...) and I sometimes get a bit lost inbetween. Travelling has thought and is teaching me to Iive in the moment and to enjoy the process of things, also when the end dedtination is not yet defined.
I enjoy the little moments in life, like the smile on the face of a person when they see someone they are excited to meet, the smell of the air water-heavy nature.

The guesthouse
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
As an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people, expose myself to new ideas, inspire and be inspired by beautiful people. Because of YOU!
I love hosting and am curious about your story.
Interests
I love being (actice) in nature, by myself or with company. Whether it's short or long hikes I am up for it, and ideally there is a possibility to go for a swim on the way.
In March 22 I started dancing lindy hop. If you don't know it (yet) I recommend for you to check it out! It's a dance full of fun, energy and a very open and kind community. And don't worry if you don't have a dance partner either :)
Food is an important aspect in my life. I love cooking and sharing (vegan) meals. I love the basic foods and be creative with different kinds of combinations. Current favourite: sourdough pizza (self made) all sorts of veggies and some tofu or tempeh.
