Hi, we are a married couple. Hana (me-female) and Mirsha (my husband-male). I am from Manchester, England, and he is from Guadalajara, Mexico. We are both lively, enthusiastic people, love travelling, cooking, learning languages (Spanish and Japanese, meeting new people, history etc

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We live in a static caravan (more like a bungalow on wheels :)) in Essex, England. We have lots of space for people to stay, either in a bed or on the sofa.
We are members of various groups on couchsurfing and when possible, go to meet people at events. We went to a karaoke party in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil, organised by people on couchsurfing. This was a great way to meet people that we would not normally come into contact with!
We have also surfed afew times, in England, Germany and Brazil, each and every time with wonderful experiences and great memories as well as new found friends :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We really enjoyed both of our couchsurfing experiences, with a glass of wine, home made german bread and getting to know our hosts, who they are, their life stories and experiences and sharing ours- great nights!

I would like to apologise for our previous low reply rate, we were away alot and often without internet. We aim to reply to all messages and requests from now on.

Interests

As well as trying new foods, experiencing new cultures and meeting amazing people, Mirsha likes climbing trees, learning practical skills like plumbing and electrics, while I (Hana) like physical activities such as running, reading murder mysteries, listening to music and talking :)
We are both very keen on self sustainability, growing fruit and veg and generally being self sufficient and being able to one day, live off the land :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Since moving to the beautiful English countryside, we have become very environmentally aware and love permaculture, all things nature and just trying to become more sustainable and self-sufficient. We love learning from everyone, but especially those that grow things, make things and up-cycle things :)
