About Me
Hey there! I’m Hans Febrian—just call me Hans. I’m a passionate dreamer and an aspiring travel professional currently studying tourism at Bournemouth University in the UK. Traveling is more than a hobby; it's a way of life for me. I thrive on good vibes, connecting with new people, and embracing every opportunity to learn and grow. Whether it's discovering hidden gems or sharing stories over a cup of coffee, I’m always up for an adventure.
Bali 🇮🇩 until the end of October 2024.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that each of us carries a unique energy, and that energy has the power to attract like-minded people into our lives. I’m here to connect with those who resonate with my vibe—to make friends, exchange ideas, and learn something new from each other. Couchsurfing isn’t just about finding a place to stay; it’s about building meaningful connections and sharing the wisdom and experiences we each bring to the table.
Interests
I'm passionate about all things travel—whether it's exploring new cities or discovering hidden corners of the world. Cooking is another love of mine; I enjoy experimenting with different cuisines and sharing meals with friends. When I'm in a creative mood, you'll find me doodling away, bringing my thoughts to life on paper.
Fitness is a big part of my routine, and I’m always up for a good workout. I also love reading, especially books that open up new perspectives. I’m currently learning French and Spanish, diving into the beauty of these languages one phrase at a time.
In my spare time, I like to catch some waves while surfing or challenge myself with wall climbing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent an unforgettable month roaming around the Balkans all by myself. It was an incredible solo adventure that allowed me to immerse myself in the rich cultures, and stunning landscapes, and, most importantly, to meet some truly amazing people along the way.
The highlight: spending one night in a Eastern Orthodox monastery located at the border of Albania and North Macedonia with a friend I met on Couchsurfing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing my passion for cooking, especially when it comes to trying out new recipes or exploring different cuisines. I'm also happy to teach you some basic doodling techniques—it's a fun and creative way to unwind.
In return, I’m eager to learn anything new, especially when it comes to languages. I’m currently learning French and Spanish, so if you’re fluent, I’d love to practice with you. I’m also keen on learning more about surfing and wall climbing, so any tips or shared experiences are more than welcome.
At the end of the day, I believe in the power of exchanging knowledge, stories, and skills—there’s always something we can learn from each other.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m all about bringing positive energy and great conversation to the table. As a guest, I can share my love for cooking by preparing a meal or two, introducing you to some of my favorite dishes. If you’re into fitness or just looking for a workout buddy, I’d be happy to join you or share some tips.
I can also share my travel stories, especially from my solo adventures and maybe inspire your next trip. If you’re interested in doodling, I’d love to create some art together or leave a little piece behind as a memento. And of course, I’m always up for language exchange—whether it’s practicing English or diving into some French and Spanish together.
Most importantly, I’m here to build a genuine connection and create memorable experiences with you."
