Overview
About Me
Likes: Getting to enjoy a slow morning coffee. A whiff of fresh paint. Things that are tiny that usually aren't tiny. Pockets in dresses. French fries.
Dislikes: Sponges left in a wet sink. The sound of fingernail clipping.
I am thoughtful, empathetic and respectful and I will be a great guest. I like to spend quiet nights at home and more spirited nights out. I like to absorb new surroundings through plenty of food, a few quiet moments of observation from a bench and a drink or two accompanied by good conversation and interesting people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Interested in meeting new people and getting to see what someone loves about the cities they call home. I think where we live and chose to spend our time can have a lot to do with who we are or who we become, and I'd like to explore that idea further. I am also looking forward to making new friends. I feel very lucky to have friends who live all over the world and am excited to add to my list.
Interests
Reading, writing, walking, cooking, exploring, seeing live music, participating in live music, pesto, finding the perfect cheeseburger, exploring new ways incorporate Brussels sprout into as many meals as I can, new fro-yo toppings, perfecting a bagel sandwich.
I enjoy sitting around good food and drinks accompanied by good conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books
The music I listen to and the books that I read are often victims of my mood. By that I mean that my tastes are varied from indie rock to R&B, experimental to soul to electronic. I love Frankie Cosmos and Dirty Projectors. I love Little Dragon and Little Jackie. Solange is my girl and Mac Demarco is my main man. I am happy to introduce you to all if you're interested.
I like books that can transport me to a different world, a different life, that can challenge me to see humanity in a way I had never considered. And then on occasion a rom-com to lighten the mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent four months sleeping on a mattress on a porch. I woke up to a beautiful mountain or was woken up by the morning rain. It took dedication and stupidity to stay out there every night for four months and I'm glad that I did.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to cook, especially with and for other people. I am always interested in learning new recipes or techniques if someone is willing to teach me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Happy to contribute to chores, making meals and would certainly treat my host to a beverage of their choosing.
