I am originally from Germany and grew up close to Düsseldorf. After school I worked in NY for a year as an au pair after which I started my International Business Studies in Maastricht, Netherlands. I really enjoy baking, music, hanging out with friends and family, going out for drinks, netflix, good food, reading and obviously traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started out on couch surfing in 2014 because I moved to another country where I didn't know a lot of people and wanted to find people to hang out, show me around and build friendships with. I mostly used AirBnB when traveling back then but now that I am planning on traveling alone couch surfing seems more fitting and I am really excited for whats to come.

Interests

I love playing theatre/ acting and going to the theatre. Also, I love reading novels since I am a little kid.
And I like learning new things, especially languages (maybe that's because I talk really much:D)
Baking and cooking is awesome. I like food in generall☺️
And sleeping after a long day !
But also going out at night and dancing and drinking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: never really grew up in this area because I read a lot of YA. nearly everything by John green (The fault in our stars, looking for Alaska, paper towns), the perks of being a wallflower, the hunger games, how to kill a mocking bird, maze runner, books by cecila ahern (ps I love you, love Rosie), much much more

Movies: hard core netflix addict so i manly watch all kinds of series. I like many movies and most of them won't come to my mind right now but in general I'm more the reading type of person

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm constantly trying to do amazing things it doesn't have to be something big but the little things are the ones that make us happy all the time:)
And also I left my home and my family and all my friends for a year to explore the US :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you German, something about German traditions and culture or what kind of beer to drink, or maybe even a little French haha or how to bake some german Christmas cookies. Maybe I can also give you some business advice ;)
