ABOUT ME

I'm a simple and free-spirited student of life who loves to sing in the shower. Deep interest in the arts as well as Latin American history & culture.

I grew up in Montreal's South Shore. Half my family lives in France; however, "frenglish" is my first language. I currently live in a small apartment in the Plateau of Montreal but unfortunately do not have enough space to host. That being said, I'm always open to chat and/or show you around!

PHILOSOPHY

The three Cs that I attempt to live by: care, creativity and curiosity. It's a beautiful thing to share these with your community and socialize (cuz you know, sharing is caring) but introspection can be just as cool.

Dance, Art, Music, Nature, Food, Travel.
Novelty is always exciting to me. A few of my favorite ways to spend my time include enjoying the outdoors, drinking tea, cooking/baking, dancing, music-making/listening, reading, having deep conversations about strange subjects, meditating, and creating things. I enjoy all types of dance (ballet, salsa, contemporary, afro etc) and music (classical, jazz, reggae, latin, alternative, folk, blues, rock, bluegrass etc). I've been dancing, playing piano and soccer for over 10 years (non-professionally).
Montreal offers a very vibrant cultural scene and is a lovely place to live but it'd be great to get away from the city sometime and perhaps enjoy country living for a while.

Music: all kinds of music. I'm constantly broke from shows but there's simply too much good live music to check out (Montreal = awesome music scene). Patrick Watson, Buika, James Blake, Bjork, Radiohead, Buena Vista Social Club, Brad Meldhau, Bon Iver, Bonobo, Cinematic Orchestra, Paul Simon, Dave Brubeck etc...

Films: Any well-made documentary, or psychological movie (horror movies completely freak me out though) as well as Spirited Away, The Sound of Music, El Laberinto del Fauno, Les Choristes, Cidade de Deus, Frida, Incendies, La Montana Sagrada, Les Intouchables, Edward Scissorhands, Monty Python's the Life of Brian, Maria Llena de Gracia, Nueve Reinas...
