About Me

I worked with NGOs such as Global Vision International, PRS Kochi, and Plan@earth during my social work internship. The people I met there were the main reason for the passion for travel.

I initially pursued my dream of documentary filmmaking attending a film school. But due to personal reasons, I had to drop out. Now I am building a career in video production works, like, cinematography editing and color grading. I am also involved in running a production studio in Kochi, Kerala, with my friends.

BBC Documentaries and the incredible David Attenborough have inspired me to embrace life and explore the world. In fact, it was David who influenced my decision to visit Thailand in 2017 for the very first time.

I could say more but I'm not that good at writing about myself convincing I'm a super cool dude you can hang out with. Anyways, this is me.,

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love Couchsurfing. It has been amazing because I've been able to save money on accommodation and food thanks to the generous people I've met through this app.

As a solo traveler, I find it great that I can easily connect with like-minded individuals even in remote locations using the hang-outs feature. That feature is incredibly useful for finding companions and making new friends

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge fan of Stanley Kubrick! I could talk about his movies for days without stopping. I truly think he is an unbelievable filmmaker and I consider all of his movies to be the best. If you haven't seen them yet I highly recommend watching them all. When we meet I can share with you the reasons why I think they're so amazing.

Other than that here are a few movies that i also like,

The Master, 12 Angry Men, Pather Panjali (Indian), Parasite (Korean), Wild Tales (Argentinian), Even the Rain (Spanish), 12 Years a Slave, Spotlight, Her, and A Separation (Iranian)

As for books, I recommend Freedom at Midnight by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre, Everything is F*cked by Mark Manson, God is Not Great by Hitchens, all Muhammed Basheer books, and The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas and Mother (there is 100 more!)

When it comes to music, I enjoy listening to Beethoven and Queen, and pop music generally

I also have a huge collection of BBC documentaries consisting more than 500 episodes and series. Including Planet Earth, The Hunt, Life, Blue Planet, and Cosmos: A Space-Time Odyssey (Nat Geo) among many others. These are all fantastic and worth watching.
