About Me
I've just discovered this platform and I promise I'll make a longer more appealing section very very soon! For starters, I'm 23 years old. And I'm doing a lot more things than I can keep track of. I'm a storyteller, with a performance arts collective called Kommune. Which means a large part of what I do, is travel around the country (mostly with sponsors on board putting me up in some fancy ass hotels). I'm an entrepreneur, and co-founder of a project called Beatmap, which is a platform that puts together some really cool, secret house parties, with curated strangers, plenty of stories, a little bit of magic and a lot of music (and of course beers). I also give corporate trainings, talk at colleges, public gatherings, consult on investment portfolios (I can go on but let's not make this a dull CV).
I love trying out new things. And this is my new thing for the month! I cook occasionally. Love beer (so that I can neutralise my fitness regime and be eternally unfit).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of travel. Never really been a great fan of actual travel though. Let's see if this platform helps with that!
A large part of my job right now, involves travelling to new cities and just exploring the city. I believe each city has a life of its own and decoding that character that a city is, is very important for me before putting together an intimate session over there. Hotels don't give me stories. Or new people to meet. As introverted as I am, I'm gonna take this leap of faith and see how this turns out!

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is super erratic. And honestly, it largely depends on the weather. If I look at what is heavy rotation on my playlist, it's a mix of Ben Howard, Linkin Park and Jay Z. Ankur Tewari is one of my favourite independent musicians from India (this has nothing to do with him being my co-founder). Parvaz is another absolutely lovely Indian band I love listening to.
Cinema Paradiso, I remember living in that movie for a few days after. Same case with Midnight in Paris. I watched Up in the air a long time ago as a kid, and recently rewatched it and realised how much impact that movie sub consciously had on me.
Grew up reading Enid Blyton (thought it was a man for the longest time) and that's the only reason I am where I am. Graduated on to the world of Harry Potter. Had a whole crime novel phase where I was engulfed in Mary Higgins Clark and Perry Mason. Recently, I've been reading some non fiction. Steve Jobs and Zero to One are the two I am on right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've given a Tedx talk. I hope that counts.
For me though, the most amazing thing I'd have done, is sip on beer on Saturday night, listen to music and talked to a bunch of strangers. And then I built a start up out of all those things I enjoyed doing on a Saturday night.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A lot of stories. Also, I can play Wonderwall on the guitar (should add that to my CV).
