Hi there!

I'm Harm, 23 years old and live in the Netherlands. I have a great passion for traveling and see it as a kind of mission to visit as many countries as possible and learn from different cultures. For my first real roadtrip experience I bought an old car together with 3 other friends which we then drove all over eastern Europe. When we got back to the Netherlands we liked it so much that me and a friend decided to hitchhike through the middle east for 10 weeks the following year. What we experienced there everyone thought was impossible. As hospitable, helpful and friendly as they are over there is hard to find! (At least where I've been so far) Currently I'm doing a roadtrip from the Netherlands to Morocco with my own car, for the first time I'm using couchsurfing so I'm very curious about what this trip will bring me and who I will meet.
