About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new people and have new experiences

Hey! I’m Harmony! I’ve been traveling for about four years now, moving from country to country, city to city. I love to explore this earth and meet the many beautiful people it has to offer.

I grew up in the Midwest outside of Detroit but always wanted to see the world. I started with a three month long road trip across the states - landing in Arizona before deciding I needed to see the rest of the would - outside of the US.

I started doing workaways with my travel mate for two months in Costa Rica between a permaculture farm and a eco lodge/yoga retreat center. We then jumped over to New Zealand for another two months working at a travelers community/hostel selling fruit to maintain the community as well as taking care of the day to day operations of the hostel. From there we went on to do workaways in both Indonesia and Thailand. From there I traveled all over Europe and truly found myself.

I also am an avid member of the couch surfing community. I believe the best way to know a city or region is to get to know the locals and knowing the area from their perspective. You can tour all you want but that’s just it, being a tourist. Being a traveler takes more work but you really reap all the rewards. I did my entire time backpacking through Europe doing couch surfing and helping out travelers communities. I fell in love with Germany and decided to stay there for some time But had to return to the states to save money to come back.

I fell into the road block of how do i stay here with what visa. So, I had to again return to the states to work and contemplate on how to make it all work. I ended up finding myself living in Los Angeles with my partner at the time but something felt like it was missing - I left my heart in Berlin. I followed the invitations and found myself living in San Francisco. It was there I realized what my heart truly wanted - to become a yoga teacher and live in Berlin. So, I worked very hard to save the money to do this and found my program in India. I am getting ready to start my program at the beginning of the new year and am so excited to begin this journey.

I truly love getting to connect with others and the knowledge it provide as well as the shared connections that last a lifetime! I absolutely love nature as well as animals - especially kitties! I never feel more alive than when I’m connecting with others and learning about their lives as well a cultures.

What makes me unique? I’m a mid west girl who’s passionate about food, music, travel, people and so much more. I have traveled all over the world the world and it’s shaped me as a person. I have so many stories to tell and love to hear others stories as well.

I really believe in sustainability and taking care of our earth. We only have one planet and we need to take care of mama gaia! I try to work with groups and individuals with those same believes as I or at least hope to teach others!
