About Me

Hello!

I'm Harry, and I'm finally going on holiday! I live in hectic old London and I work in the arts (writing, directing and producing theatre and films, and my background is in music).

My friends Diego and Anne are getting married in Lake Garda on the 28th of May (very exciting!) so I thought I'd make a real trip of it and stay out for 3 months afterwards. I love Italian culture and art, Dante and Bocaccio are some of my favourite poets.

I'd like to visit beautiful and fascinating places and meet great people along the way. I land in Verona on the 18th of May, and plan to visit Padova, Bologna, Florence and other places in these regions, as well as around Lake Garda. My friend Diego is helping me get a scooter, so I plan to ride across the Apennines (a decision I can already imagine regretting when the scooter inevitably falls apart!)

I have a really cool creative place in central London to host people too. You can find out more about me on my website: www.thewebsiteofharry.co.uk.

I can't wait to get to Italy and begin adventuring. Hopefully see you soon!

Harry

Music, Movies, and Books

Bowie, Dylan, Hendrix (in an ever-changing order), Ravel, Debussy; anything romantic and magical.

Katherine Hepburn and the Golden Age stars. O'toole and the rest of those 60's Hellraisers. I love too many actors, directors and films to even begin listing.

Keats, Dante, Shakespeare, D.H Lawrence, Byron, Wilde... another difficult list to begin or end!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was born; that was probably the most amazing thing I'll ever do.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love nothing more than hearing and telling stories. I think the meaning of life is to connect to people, so I love sharing ideas and thoughts. I play lots of instruments and like to teach people to play. I love acting and performing, reading and writing, and making things with people. I'd be very excited to do creative projects with hosts!
