Hello! I’m Harish Mehta, an entrepreneur based in India, passionate about cultural exchange, meaningful conversations, and meeting people from across the world. I believe every person carries unique knowledge and experiences, and I enjoy learning from those perspectives—whether it’s about travel, food, business, or personal journeys. My personality is friendly, respectful, and easygoing. I value positivity and try to maintain a balanced and cheerful outlook in all situations. Hosting travelers has shown me how diverse and inspiring the world truly is, and how quickly meaningful connections can form through simple interactions. I discovered Couchsurfing through a friend, and since then it has become one of my favorite ways to connect with global minds. Even without traveling far, I feel like the world comes closer through conversations, shared meals, and cultural exchange. If you’re visiting India—especially Delhi—I’d be happy to connect. Whether you need local guidance, cultural insights, or simply good company for a conversation or a meal, I’m always open to meeting new people. Looking forward to welcoming travelers and building meaningful global connections

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing allows me to meet people from different backgrounds and understand new cultures firsthand. I enjoy hosting travelers, showing them the local lifestyle, and exchanging ideas that broaden my perspective—both personally and professionally. As someone involved in international business, connecting with people from around the world is something I value deeply. Genuine relationships often start with simple interactions, and I believe cultural exchange is one of the best ways to build trust and long-term connections.
Music, Movies, and Books
🎶 Music – I enjoy almost everything that has good vibes! From Bollywood classics to international pop, soft rock, and a little bit of jazz. I also love discovering traditional music from different countries—it feels like traveling without leaving home. 🎬 Movies – Big fan of movies that inspire or make me laugh. I enjoy comedies, travel films, and meaningful dramas. Sometimes I also like action or adventure movies when I just want entertainment. Favorites include movies that show different cultures and life journeys. 📚 Books – I like books that bring positivity, travel stories, and biographies. Sometimes I read spiritual or motivational books, and other times just light novels to relax. Anything that tells a good story or teaches something new always excites me.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Traveled without a plan and ended up making lifelong friends along the way. Cooked Indian food for international friends and watched them love every bite. Danced on the streets with strangers during a festival—without music, just joy. Hosted travelers at home and realized you don’t need to leave your city to explore the world. Spontaneously joined a road trip with people I had just met and it turned into an unforgettable adventure.
Teach, Learn, Share
👨🏫 Teach – I can share Indian cooking, culture, and traditions. I can also teach you a bit of Hindi and show you some local tips about life in India. 📚 Learn – I’m always curious to learn about new cultures, cuisines, and languages. I’d love to learn how people live in different parts of the world and maybe even try cooking your favorite dish. 🤝 Share – Good conversations, food, stories, laughter, and positive energy. Whether it’s exploring the city together, cooking a meal, or just hanging out, I believe the best memories come from sharing simple moments.
