Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Harshil! I live in San Francisco, California and I work for a startup called TILE (those tiny key finders, If we meet, expect some Tiles as a gift :P). I am originally from India and I spent 4 years living in the beautiful city of Boulder, Colorado.
I am an easy-going, perennially happy guy. I love trying out new things and adding new experiences to my life. One story that I love sharing is when I tried shark snorkeling (without a cage) in Hawaii. As ironic as it seems, that moment was the most peaceful I've felt in my life!
I am big on minimalism and gratitude, I believe they help me lead a more fulfilled life. I enjoy fun conversations over local beers, I also enjoy deep 3am conversations! I am not too much into selfies and photos but I'm happy to take yours. I love chocolate croissants and if I could, I'd happily travel to try the best croissant in each city.
I prefer to travel light and won't need too much space.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using Couchsurfing from April 2021, and I've met some of the kindest people out there. It has changed me for the better in so many ways. My idea of a perfect trip is to pick the vibe of the place, try out local favorites, make friends with locals, experience a layer beyond the touristy things that any city has to offer.
I also love meeting new people and learning about their life experiences. It's fascinating that we're all wired differently and a lot of it is based on the crazy life stories that we've lived. I'd love to know yours, I'd love to share mine. I realized there are people here who've traveled way more than I have, I'm sure your travel stories are going to inspire me to travel more. :)

I can teach you Hindi, things to do and places to visit in India. I can also cook good Indian food.
I'd love to learn more about your culture, your music choices, your crazy travel stories.
I can share my most embarrassing teenage stories, stories around my experience of moving to the US alone at the age of 22.
