Overview
About Me
I am afraid that I do not accept guests for the moment, but will be willing to show you around Tokyo or have coffee together for some chat.
To introduce myself, 'haruka' means far or vast in Japanese. My parents named me, wishing for me to be somone with vast sight in life and see more of the world with different perspectives. And I think I have tried to be so unconsciously.
I used to live in Sydney 5 years while young and I love it! I've tried to keep up with my English after getting back to Tokyo and happy to have done that since it has let me have more opportunities to talk with and know more about people from all over the world. It has even let me work in various fields too.
I have always loved to travel and see different cultures and meet new people in and out of Tokyo. Both on private and on business.
I have workd in the media, event coordinating and Airline Industires (Engineering Dept.) Field.
After these careers, I lived in Siena, Italy for a year to learn Italian language, and worked at Expo Milano 2015 the following year. And now looking for a new job position hopefully overseas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am very happy and passionate in things that I'd be more than happy to share it with other people and make life more fun and memorable.
I like it when connection/network can expand so many possibilities and fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While I used to live in Australia during elementary, I randomly put "grandparents day invitation" in my neighbors' post box because I couldn't invite my real grandparents back in my country(Japan).
But this woman next door came to my grandparents' day for me and my little sister, and we have been "grandma & grandaughters" for more than 20 years!
I love this fact, that to meet people, sometimes leads us to some great experience and relationships, networks or whatever that is about people and humanity.
