About Me
Hola amigos!
I am a born and raised Pakistani, hailing from the cultural hub of Lahore. I have been living in the US for the past few years for graduate school.
As is the case with pretty much everyone here, I enjoy traveling. The places I've spent a decent amount of time exploring include Europe, the US, Taiwan and of course Pakistan. Exploring Latin America is something I've been meaning to do for a while now and am quite excited to have finally gotten a chance to do so with Mexico.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just recently graduated and will start working as a software engineer in a couple of months. Before I become a corporate slave, I decided to backpack through Mexico!

Music, Movies, and Books
Fan of all genres of music descending from the blues. You can never go wrong with classic rock. Led Zeppelin is the greatest band of all time, there I said it, fight me. Do not have a ton of appreciation for rap but you are welcome to change my mind. If you let me crash on your couch I will introduce you to some Pakistani music which is not only going to blow your mind but will nothing like anything you've heard before.
When it comes to movies, a huge fan of anything made by John Cassavettes and Woody Allen. Let's talk French, Swedish and Persian cinema.
Recently got into Russian literature and currently working my way through Dostoevsky.
Would like nothing more than to be introduced to music, cinema, and literature from your country too!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walked, ate and slept on of the longest glaciers on the planet for about two weeks.
Teach, Learn, Share
Would like to improve my Spanish, guitar playing skills, cook foods from local cuisines.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My culture and heritage and everything about my background which makes me the person I am. I have been told that I am a great conversationalist so yeah let's grab some coffee (or alcohol, your preference) and talk our way through unchartered topics we've never ventured into before.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland
Countries I’ve Lived In
