I am a Gemini man from Maldives happily married with a Japanese for past 11 years. we have been through a lot. We are a decent couple. We have experienced many up's and down's in the past 11 years. It's long story to describe here, I guess you shall communicate with us and learn it for your self. I feel like I have to write a book on me ;-)
Anyway recently me and my wife have moved and based at Maafushi Island.
At the moment, we won't be able to host any men or couple, since we live in a small room with a very little kitchen located at the main road, even we don't have a living room. also we are a Muslim / Islamic couple. So many apologies as my wife wears shorts and t-shirt inside room because of it's hot climate, so she just hesitate to share the room with another man. But as most of the time we are travelling, if we are abroad and if you let us know period to at least a week or 15 days, and if our apartment is vacant, and if we are in abroad or travelling abroad at the requested time, then you can get our room key from neighbour and use it, also we can arrange one of our friend as a guide, if we are not available. then it's happy news for men and couples;-)
Really I hope everyone can understand it, but if it's a girl, she can sleep with my wife on bed as it's a double bed big enough for two people and I can sleep on the floor on a mattress, or if it’s two girls we have two mattress and they can sleep on it, if they feel comfortable.
Still we have happy news for everyone, on from January 2020, we will have a apartment with three rooms, big living room and kitchen, as we are going to move my parents (mother and father). They are really calm and friendly, kind hearted people, but the problem will be mom understand very little English, but with action and body language she manages to talk my wife and teach her Dhivehi(Maldives Language) and dad speaks broken English anyway, so you will understand him ;-)... then we will definitely keep one room for Couch Surfers.
All I can do to people who's not comfortable with this situation, I can arrange you hotels at really cheap prices. I am not promoting my business or Travel Agency here, So I don't need any profit and I just want to help Couch Surfers, as we want to make new friends across the globe and share the stories together, go excursions together, cook together, share the local life together and simply just we believe materialistic things doesn’t last forever. But true relationships last long. For my business I have enough Outbound Travel agents and destination management agencies work for me. So you don't need to worry about it. Thank God I make enough money to live a happy life.

Who shares the same thoughts or if you feel you can trust us, don't hesitate to write us, we would be more than glad to help you in all the way we can. It will be our pleasure to host you in Maafushi and guide you.
But please write us at least a week or 15 days prior, so we knows our schedule and suggest you as we have company in Lanka and DMC in India, we are mostly travelling between these three countries. We can ask our neighbour to give you the room key when you contact, you can use it, and when you leave just handover the key to same person. But please keep the room clean and neat. We don't have so many stuff in our room which you should worry about if we are travelling or already abroad.
