Overview
About Me
I'm a student from the USA studying art, environmentalism, and sociology. I have been living in Monterrey Mexico for the past few months. I want to get to know the world and forge connections across borders. I am also interested in community/collaborative living so I aim very excited to see the world and learn to live, travel, and share experiences with people very different than myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm exploring Mexico and making the most of my semester abroad before I return to Chicago! I hope to travel further and host in the future.
Music, Movies, and Books
Love anything Neil Gaiman, and anything Ntozake Shange. One of my favorite books that I have read in the past six months is called The Faggots and Their Friends Between Revolutions by Professor Larry Mitchell. I like Nina Simone, Prince, and Amy Winehouse as well as Phil Ochs, Hozier, the Gipsy Kings, and the Doors. Some of my favorite films are Leon the Professional, Breakfast on Pluto, and La Mala Educación.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
