ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old college graduate from West Texas. I recently graduated from Tarleton State University with a B.S. in Business Admin. I am a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blue belt bettering myself day by day. Through my childhood, I was unfortunately exposed to a society of closed minded people, who would look down on the sense of adventure I am current set upon. Not for a lack of good people, but a lack of information and understanding, an unfortunate common issue in rural southern communities. Now I am on a path to make up for that, by experiencing all that I can, opening myself up to new ideas and cultures. I am the type of person that enjoys to mostly chill and engage in good conversation, but who is also drawn to spontaneous scenarios. I always enjoy laughing and enjoying the company of others. I look forward to all the friends I shall make along my journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing exp. is limited to the virtual conversation of fellow couchsurfers willing to exchange ideas and travel advice. Though I am hoping to change that in the near future.

Interests

As I mentioned, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a big part of my life, a part that has shaped me into the new person I wanted to become. I find that seeking new sources of knowledge has become an obsession of mine, trying to discover new avenues my mind can travel. A particularly fond topic of mine is Fitness/Nutrition/Nature and the combination of the three. What I look forward to the most in this newly discovered desire to explore the world is the chance to soak up the history and origins of the places I visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

The list of movies I have come to appreciate is much longer than the average readers attention span to an individuals profile so I'll only list a few (: (Braveheart, Gangs of New York, Departed, Gladiator, Tombstone)

Music: Anything that cures the soul, but if I was to choose it would be 70-80s Rock (The Doors, Guns & Roses, Pink Floyd)

Books: Sex at Dawn, The Harry Potter Series, Born to Run, Paleo Solutions, Great Gatsby, Of Mice and Me, and so many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The amazing experiences I have had are mostly secluded to the confines of the southern half of the United States. Exploring the tops of the Rockie Mountains, trekking through the country side of Texas, diving in the reef off the Shores of Mexico. The future is what holds my amazing experiences, waiting for me to venture into the unknown before they will unfold.
