About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn the world.

ABOUT ME

One of my dreams as a kid was to live in Savannah, GA so in 2009 I decide one day it was time to do it. I packed up and went on a 1.5 year working vacation. It was a blast! I bathe and brush my teeth on a daily basis. I once drove into a water spout, that was intense! Wine is my friend but Bourbon is my lover but my work generally prevents me spending time with both of them. If you need directions, don't ask me! I get my right and left mixed up quite a bit and may end up heading the wrong direction...

PHILOSOPHY

1. Life is not about changing the world. It is about changing one person's world.

2. Only through understanding can you gain knowledge.

3. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it’s the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. - Yes I stole this one from Cliff

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mainly host but am now starting to venture out and plan on surfing as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great ones! The Aussies were great surfers who taught me it is okay to lose the contest on purpose or else I may end up chugging 4 beers in a row because they can't handle defeat. Dan taught me that my job does not require me to have slept the night before, playing ping pong on xbox until 6 am provides the same effect as sleep... There are too many great people I have hosted and there is no way I could even begin to explain how many great experiences I have had!

Interests

Meeting and learning about new people. I mean who needs fiction book when there are so many amazing real stories to hear from real people!
