CURRENT MISSION I'm a student of the universe. I feel like the universe is this rich & wonderful tapestry telling endless stories to any who will take the time to look & to listen. I want to see & hear & experience every part of this fantastic tale in vivid detail. ABOUT ME I'm 21 years old. The past two decades of my life have been pretty much like the kaleidoscopic view you see when you're spinning around 360 degrees at 200 miles per hour on a roller coaster, rising & falling & twisting & turning in unexpected ways. I'm just trying to plant my feet on the ground & get my life started in a direction I have control over. I want to chase my own dreams instead of settling for the mirage of other person's. One of my biggest dreams is to travel everywhere, to meet everyone, to see & to feel & to live life to the fullest until I've become completely whole. PHILOSOPHY I believe that life is a celebration. Of all the inert matter & all the empty space in the universe, we've had the fantastic fortune of finding ourselves to be such interestingly sentient matter on such an endlessly beautiful & interesting planet.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I am incredibly new to couch surfing! By new, I mean that I've never done it before. I've wanted to for years & finally feel brave enough & free enough to do so. (: I would love to host. As soon as I have my own place again I fully intend to. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE ...Hopefully these experiences will enriching & beautiful.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love a great many movies. My favorites would have to be Harold & Maude, The Fall, The Kid, & Almost Famous. As far as music, it's hard to narrow it down even to favorites! The first that come to mind are Conor Oberst, Sufjan Stevens, The Shins, Devendra Banhart, Cat Stevens, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Eliott Smith, & many many more. I read voraciously. I guess I'll fall back on listing my favorites here as well, since I cannot think of another way to go about it: Vonnegut, Fitzgerald, Camus, Salinger, Foer, Twain, cummings, Kerouac, Wilde, Coupland, et cetera.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I don't know. I've had the opportunity to be involved in some wonderful causes with some wonderful people, "fighting for the big things, the things that matter", like Food Not Bombs, Occupy Orlando, Save Darfur, 99 Red Balloons Project, Amnesty & the ACLU.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a decent artist & love to share the thrill & the skills I've acquired over the years. I am a horrible linguist, however. I appreciate every opportunity to speak with someone who has the gift of tongues. (:
My Interests
Everything interests me deeply. If I had to narrow it down, however, I would have to say that art (both the appreciation & creation of), music, biology, culture, world religions, & cosmology are my biggest interests.
