ABOUT ME
I am cheerful, friendly, quiet and a little crazy at times, easy-going, open-minded (well, I can also be stubborn), I love animals, I don't smoke, I enjoy a good meal with a glass of wine and I like to learn. I'm interested in history (used to study History and English for a couple of years, not finished my degree yet but hopefully one day) and recently started to read about herbs and essential oils.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My flatmate in Norway introduced me to it, and I think it's a great opportunity to get to know people and to make travelling easier. For the guest, because he/she can stay with a local which has plenty of advantages, and for the host, because he/she can enjoy the spirit of travelling without even leaving the house. Besides I think it brings luck to have a guest staying at your house. :-) Or at least new experience and nice conversations. Unfortunately I cannot host anybody at the moment, as I'm living with my parents and I couldn't yet convince them that having strangers staying at your place is actually an amazing experiece. But as soon as I have my own place, I will host.
Interests
Most of my time I spend reading books, I take photos at horse race meetings or I´m just creative, depends on what I feel like doing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have lots of favourite books, particularly those written by Dick Francis and by Ann Granger. I love music, but have real preference. Occassionally I watch movies, but I'm not really into that and don't have a favourite one.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm left awestruck every time I'm near a racehorse. When it comes to places, the beauty of Ireland and the Wattensea have impressed me most I´d say.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, German and some Norwegian.
I would like to learn lots of things, can't think of anything that I really don't want to learn, however I have some priorities. Currently one of them is how to spin wool. I would share anything that is shareable (does this word exist?), except for the things that are dearest to me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good mood and interesting conversations. Beer.
