About Me

Two super cool mid-20s gal pals, Heidi and Lex, leisurely scratching countries off our travel list!
We're a couple of snowbirds flying into Bogota, Colombia end of November to seek warm weather, beautiful culture, lively music, and yummy eats. We're traveling around Colombia, then south to Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina.
To finish off our trip in the spring, we'll be headed to southern USA in search of some toe-tapping tunes!

We're great company who don't mind the following:
Good tunes
Good greens of all kinds
Good company
Good folks (ie: not serial killers)
Good breakfast (cereal killahs)
Good humour (clearly ^^^)
Annnnd some good vibes !

Although it may not have been official via couchsurfing, we have lived in a communal welcoming home in the heart of North America for the past few years, always accommodating needs of our friends and families, both local and international visitors! This includes coffee and lovely chats, homecooked meals, musical entertainment at times, and general friendly vibes and good times!

Awesome people apply within ✌💕
We enjoy interacting with people who are open-minded, and true to themselves and everyone/everything around them!
Let the good times roll,
be you be true be free

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing is an economical fun way to travel and meet locals. We love meeting new people, going on adventures, and experiencing different ways of life. We're down to earth, chill individuals, without many expectations other than to enhance our lives through trying and learning new things! Sometimes having a little trust in humanity turns out to be a beautiful thing :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Serious lovers of a wide variety of music from jazzy blues to metal to classic rock n roll and beyond, books; especially biographies and autobiographies, and movies of all sorts (especially Harry Potter)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching a whale in a Hawaiian tropic thunderstorm breach full nat geo twist while a bolt of lightning crashed in the water behind it. Not even kidding guys.

This adventure also included watching lava flow into the ocean, standing at the most southern point of the USA, planted lychee trees and pineapples named after us, going on exciting buggy rides off the beaten track and visiting Miloli'i, the last remaining original fishing village of the Big Island. None of this would have been possible had we not had the help of amazing locals, put trust in the universe and taken a chance on new people and adventures!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Dope company, various neat creative skills, cool handshakes, super tidy, Canadian culture, English/French lessons, big smiles and optimistic attitudes!
We love interesting conversations and hearing new perspectives on life, we're passionate about music and the great outdoors, we love caring for plants and kitties!
We're also huge fans of chocolate, french fries, coffee, and pizza :)
