About Me

Hey guys :)

I just finished my law studies. And since this felt a bit like a two-year-confinement in the library, I'm now really looking forward to rediscover what else the world has to offer - I'm especially curious about some sunshine and good food and wine! ;) As my girlfriend Ulla and I were told, Italy has the best of it all, so we can't wait to explore Rome in the end of November, beginning of December.

We would be super happy if we could stay at your place for two or three days, get to know you and the city and make new friends :)

We are two accomplished chitchatters and happy to tell and get told both the funny and the 'real' stories we all have to share :) We have already travelled together and alone to places like Argentina, Madagascar, Nicaragua, Mali etc. - since both of us have never been to Rome before we would be most delighted to trade our stories from these countries against your stories about Rome and wherever you have already been to :) Ulla is 22 and studies medicine and she is currently abroad for an Erasmus-term in Lille (France). I am 29 and am still not quite sure what to do with my law degree now that I finally have it ;) In her leisure time, Ulla is not only the most fun and sweetest person to have around, but she is also a great dancer and likes to do all kind of sports, especially basketball (and, newly, diving!), and she sings! I myself do roadcycling, like to go out with my camera, watch football with friends and play the accordion. What about you? :)

In terms of accomodation, I think we are pretty easy to handle, happy to sleep on the floor with our sleeping bags.

We can't wait meeting you!! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find couchsurfing is the straightest and most fun road to getting to know a place and its people without staying on the routes of the travel guide. And apart from learning about a new place, you get to know new friends: hear each others' stories, learn from their experiences, share the jokes, maybe get to know a new perspective on yourself or your country, get to hear instruments you never knew existed, taste new food. In short: it's just great :)

Disclaimer: Unfortunately during my previous couchsurfing experiences, I was always in company of friends who were more active participants of the platform. That's why I still lack reviews. But I'm already looking forward to writing a very enthousiastic one about you ;)
