About Me

**UNABLE TO HOST FOR A WHILE**

Hi there! 24 year-old here, was living in London, England. And now I’m a bit of a nomad until I find a job position. My profile is still sort of setup for when I was living in France, working at a bar.

Originally, I was laying a foundation for a law degree with a bachelors in Political Science but I have since changed my mind and I hope to focus my energy on international development.

As a person, I am easy and outgoing. I am VERY clean and maybe a bit of a neat freak? Idk, I'll let you be the judge. I like to learn the ins and outs of where I visit, I want to know the city the way the locals do! I am extremely sociable and I am always up for a drink and a great conversation.

Words I live by:
- To each their own
- Be the change you wish to see in the world

P.S. I love chocolate...and pastries...and desserts....really- they make me very happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I understand the difficulties in traveling and I wish to make it easier and more fun for people. As a traveler, I want to meet people, create worldwide relationships, and experience different cultures. As a host, I want to entertain, show around, and, frankly, give travelers a nice place to stay without hurting their wallets.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy all music. I love acoustic, Jazz, EDM...Currently on my playlist you will find an overwhelming amount of Alt-J and Ed Sheeran music.
Movies are great, I like documentaries, dramas, suspense, thrillers, comedies...
As for books, I am currently working on Clash of Kings (1 year later, and I'm still working on Clash of Kings).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wouldn't say it's anything TOO special for people, but it is for me and I've done it several times, it's watching a meteor shower. I love star gazing and watching a meteor shower is quite magical.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a host, I can share a nice lovely apartment and comfortable sleeping quarters. I like engaging in thought-provoking conversations so if you like those, I'll definitely share a loaded conversation or two. If I have the time, I can also share a meal and introduce to some cool friends.

I can be as involved or uninvolved during a guest's stay. I work week days and weekends at a bar so my availability to entertain may not be much. I also have many things to do myself, in life, running errands and such so that will also affect me being able to entertain. If I'm around, I can give a Rennes tour, which doesn't take much as it is a small city, and go to nice bars in the evening. If there are larger parties, I understand that me having to entertain is not as necessary. IF I trust the couch surfer enough, I MAY have an extra spare of keys to give. Just let me know what kind of a experience you're looking for, some people just want to discover the city themselves, while others prefer a local to do things with. When you write your request, just specify :) I'm open to either.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some salted caramel specialties from the region of Brittany, where I live. Otherwise, I can bring wine or other requests. I will share my positive attitude and outlook on life. I can share a nicely cooked meal by me :) In addition, I also recognize that hosts have their own lives and sometimes cannot/do not want to entertain surfers during their entire stay but would still like to help lodge or make a small acquaintance with a passing traveler, so I do not hold my hosts up to any expectations. It is their home and their lives', and I would appreciate, love, and be grateful for any sort of involvement, no matter how big or small :)
