Overview
About Me
I'm friendly and easygoing. Though I might be a bit shy at first, I open up pretty quickly.
I would like to meet people on my travels and learn about their lives and culture, however, I can also happily look after myself and don't expect constant attention.
I like to laugh and have fun.
If you have any questions about me/ if there's anything that I forgot to say, please send me a message!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This is my first time using couch surfing. I'm looking for a way to travel where I can build personal connections with people who know the area. I want to work on my French, which has gotten rusty lately, in and authentic way. I like meeting people one on one or in small groups best, so couch surfing also appeals to me on that front.
Hopefully one day soon I'll be sufficiently settled to host people, but not yet.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: indigo girls, fleet foxes, first aid kit, smoke fairies, Greg brown, Kate wolf, Simon and garfunkle
Books: anything by Connie Willis, Tamora pierce, Diana wynne Jones. Generally, like most books a lot! I'm always looking for new recommendations.
Tv: pushing daisies, miss fisher's murder mysteries, Brooklyn 99, Miranda, and plenty of others!
Movies: lord of the rings, secret of roan inish, too many to list. I'm not good with horror (very easily frightened).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not thinking of anything too amazing right now... hopefully I'll change this soon!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help with household sewing
I can cook and share food
I can tell some stories about bears and chickens from living on a farm in Canada (fortunately, I don't have any stories involving both at once. Those are usually sad stories for the chickens)
