About Me

Recently I finished my studies and I started to work in Munich, Germany. I always loved travelling, I got hooked by it when I was 18 and travelled alone through New Zealand and Australia. In the last years of my studies, I had the opportunity to study in Buenos Aires Argentina and to travel for 3 months through South America after that. For the next few years I want to explore my home continent, Europe.

I'm super easy-going and always open for any kind of conversation, but I also want you to give you your privacy and don't want to cause inconvenience for you.

I did stay with two hosts before in New Zealand and one host in Chile. It were awesome experiences and I enjoyed to get to know the hosts and the spirit of couchsurfing.

I am someone who enjoys life and has a positive attitude and curiosity towards everything. I always try to see the good things even in the worst situations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My main reason right now is to travel the continent and meeting people that live in the place (locals) I am visiting to get to know them and to get to know the place a bit better.

But I'm also looking forward to meet new people and experience the spirit of couchsurfing.

I want to meet new people or travelers to experience something with them or just to talk to each other to exchange knowledge and thoughts about life.

Interests

Generally, I noticed that I'm fascinated and interested in pretty much everything when people tell about their hobbies/ interests. I just enjoy to meet people and listen sincerely to their stories/ life. This is what travelling makes so special for me, to meet all kinds of people. It opens the eyes and gives you different perspectives on life.

But here are some hobby's I'm currently doing:
I like doing sports such as volleyball and running. Volleyball I just play occasionally with friends. I do run quite frequently, like 1-3 times a week. I love running because you can do it when you want and where you want and while running I can relax my mind. I ran a marathon in 2021. But I am also open for get into new sports. Recently I especially do a lot of climbing / bouldering and swimming.
I like going to parties or to go to a bar, but I can also have fun without alcohol.
Due to my study in engineering, I am also interested in technology.
Acting was one of my Hobbies in Germany. I was an actor in an amateur theatre group during school for 7 years.
I started daily meditation when I came to NZ, now I am doing it occasionally. Im also into spiritual stuff, but not obsessed with it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to varios kind of music, I most like rap and electronic/ techno music and similar music styles.
I read non-fiction books, e.g. about self development.
I don't watched many movies already, don't know exactly why, I never really took time for this, but the more I am interested if people want to tell me about some cool movies :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What people see as amazing is different from person to person, but here some things I found were amazing:

Doing a 10 day meditation course where you could not talk to anyone.
Travelling alone for a year.
Doing a multi day hike.
Watching the starsky in absolute darkness in New Zealand.
I did a bungy jump.
Running a marathon.
I hiked up a 6000m mountain.
I entered an active mine where people were working and where I had to sign a paper that I could die beforehand.

Teach, Learn, Share

Here some of my views about life:

I don't judge people for what they are doing/ look like. A person who seems to be uncool, crazy or unlikeable at the first glance, could be a very nice person in the inner.
I am thankful for everything I have in my life and what people do for me. If it's the fact that I am able to travel, to experience freedom or just that I don't have to worry about having something to eat.
One get experience out of everything, especially of faults.
Life is beautiful.
Things are fading, that's why you should enjoy every day and the current moment.
Enjoy life. Be happy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Myself. I'm sociable and we can talk about everything. But I'm also considerate and try to don't cause any inconvenience for you.
I can cook if you want me to as an exchange that I stay at yours.
