About Me

I'm a young professional from Leuven with a passion for discovering new horizons, meeting new people and exchanging worldviews. I studied business administration, but I am not your typical businessman. I recently graduated and am currently aspiring to contribute to the current energy transition towards a more sustainable global economy. Still searching my path in this world, I don't have too many long-term plans yet and prefer to live in the moment. Currently interning at the permanent representation of Belgium at the United Nations, I primarily spend my days at the World Trade Organisation for the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've come to understand that there's no better way to get to know a new place than by hanging out with a local. And there's no better way to get to know a local than by staying at his/her place. I'd like to contribute to the couchsurfing community in the hope that I can count on it myself when I need it. Give and take relationships always work best ;).
****
I am currently looking for accommodation in Geneva, as I temporarily have to move out of my lodgings for several days. From Wednesday to Saturday to be exact. I don't need much and am more than happy with a spot on the floor (I can bring an inflatable matress ;) ) and perhaps a shower if you can spare it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Electronic, Techno, Bluesrock
Movies: Scorsese style thriller
Books: historic fantasy à la Game of Thrones, but more and more into classic literature. Also like non-fiction books on economics and society e.g. Sapiens or Doughnut Economics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently completed my first half-triathlons. I wouldn't say that's amazing, but I would say it is an achievement ;).

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good conversation, on a broad range of topics, preferably with a good cup of coffee, a beer or a glass of red wine. Also open to join you on a bike ride, a jog or and evening at the climbing gym. Or a cultural event, like a visit to the theatre for example.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Belgium, England, Germany, India, Switzerland
