I'm addicted to travelling, spending most of my life in New Zealand and the United States. I'm super into storytelling, poetry and blog writing, and I geek out over techie science too. My natural habitat is both a hipster coffee house and a tent on a mountain! Right now, I'm finishing up my university degree in Electrical Engineering and hoping to go into education work with technology. I absolutely love working with children and learning about/understanding communities and cultures that are different from my own!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm new to Couchsurfing, and love learning about peoples' stories and backgrounds! I'm always looking at the next place to travel too as I can never get enough of it, even though it can be hard along the way. During times that I've felt alone in a big foreign city, I've found locals who invited me into their homes and told me about their community, and I want to keep meeting people this way!

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I spent a couple of weeks in a remote village in Nepal without an ounce of Nepali going in. No-one spoke any English!
