Finnish guy with wanderlust. I grew up on a farm in a big family so sharing is ingrained in my values. Now I’m in between schools and I want to see the world during this time. I’ve had some crazy experiences while hitchhiking but I still think it’s the best way of travel. Simply because the people I’ve met and the thrill of adventure it has given me.

I will keep this introduction brief so here’s some words to describe myself. I’m calm, cold-blooded thinker who has the ability adapt to any situation. I’m very patient and an easy guest. I don’t classify myself as an introvert or an extrovert so I would just vibe with the energy of the host or guest. I’m adventurous and spontaneus so I would like you to be too. I often say that the best part about traveling is the people you meet and the worst part is saying goodbye to them knowing you might never see them again. Guys, true human connections can be achieved in a matter hours.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I’m couchsurfing because I want to see as much of the world as I can and that requires being on budget. But more importantly because I truly think that in order to experience the cultures of the countries one is visiting, the traveller must meet the locals and have conversations with them.

Also the experiences I have had and the amazing people I have met through CS makes me want to stay on this site till the day I die. Hope to host you or get hosted by you too kind stranger!

I prefer rock but I listen to almost anything except for most rap and melancholic Finnish classics.

I would consider myself as a bit of a movie freak but not too much. I don’t really read but books that I enjoyed reading are ’And Then There Were None’ and ’Tulitikkuja lainaamassa’.

I have a lot favorite movies so it’s hard to name them all but here’s some: Contratiempo, Before Sunrise, Jagten, Druk, Perfetti Sconosciuti, The Grand Budapest Hotel, 3 Idiots, Fargo, The Raid: Redemption, In Bruges and Snatch

Hicthhiking the Balkans, including: intersting people I met, deep and sometimes personal conversations I had, invitations to strangers houses (which I, of course, accepted), dangerous situations I survived, the thoughts of giving up and the will to carry on. True thrill of adventure and lack of knowledge on where I would end up next.

I know the basics of hitchhiking if someone is interested… I can also teach you some card games I picked up along the way. And if you want to learn some Finnish cooking, I can try my best teach you. Why not learn some Finnish curse words too as everybody seems to want to know them?

Stories and laughter, maybe even little adventures. I can also help with chores if needed and cook Finnish food for you if you want. I’m basically a kid so I’m not qualified to do this but if you need horrible marriage advice, well I can help you with that too
