Hi, my name is Hernan, I am from Chile… I live between 2 cities - Santiago and the island Chiloe. (Usually not in Chiloe in weekends)

I work as a maxillofacial surgeon but my passion is food and wine (not to get drunk). I love my job but i don't want my life to be consistent of just working - I am planning to dedicate my life fully to traveling and enjoying more freedom.

I really love music, going to concerts - not for crazy nights but to connect to music itself.

I also like cooking, pairing food with drinks, trying new restaurants, new food.

Animals, nature, spending time with friends, adrenaline sports, play with friends (sports, video games, board games), learning about new things and to laugh 😊

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Before when I would travel, I would always stay in hotels or rented places, but now I opened myself to use Couchsurfing and discovered a completely new world.

Couchsurfing is great to share new friendly experiences, get to know places through eyes of local people, to learn about gastronomy…

I would also like to show to people the city where I live… or/and to share about my own travel and life experiences.
