About Me

CURRENT MISSION

every day above ground, is a good day....

ABOUT ME

I was a Languages teacher and I blame traveling, and the beauty of it for quiting my profession! I find it hard to do something else when I am thinking about traveling. The best part about traveling is meeting new and interesting people rather than landscapes and tourist attractions.

PHILOSOPHY

treat everybody as you would like to be treated. and karma .... do good things and good things will come to you ...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and being hosted and spreading the word and philosophy about the site.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted about 15 people and was hosted about 40 times, come on people do not be shy about Manchester!

Interests

Travelling is my favourite thing in the world!
I also like playing football, doing Yoga and dancing anything without really learning the proper steps!
I also like learning languages only up to beginner level, it gets hard after that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading, and even though the classics are long and sometimes tedious, they keep me good company during trips.
Tango to get depressed and Brazilian music to be happy again. merengue beats salsa any day, only because its easier to dance!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

3 years backpacking in Asia, going and coming back by land with buses, trains and hitchhiking . .. the best!
been to about 80 countries ..... with Nepal being top of the list.
just recently hitchhiked all around Iceland, beautiful, but wet and cold!

Teach, Learn, Share

Traveling is just not the same without meeting locals and feeling at least for a moment what is like to live in that place.I want to learn from different people, places and experiences... it's never enough!

What I Can Share with Hosts

travelling tips, practising languages, chat about general things, dancing salsa??
I can share the very little I've seen and done, basically that you should just go anywhere, the crazier the better... it will be great!
