ABOUT ME

Jan & I have a very nice relationship, and we both have 3 kids (= 6 in total) and 3 lovely grandkids: Senne, Lisa & Lucas! We spend our time with our family and friends, and we like cycling, walking, dining, traveling, cultural activities, and art/architecture.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

mainly by hosting and sometimes also by surfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are no experienced CS members, but we had a lot of guests from everywhere! The last years, we hosted a Canadian couple, South-Africans, a Swedish girl, Dutch people, American people, Austrian friends, Scottish friends, etc...

Interests

We are both interested in so many things !

We both like to cook for our family and friends
and afterwards to sit next to the open fire in Jan's living room with a glass of wine/beer ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

We like realistic movies as well as documentaries.
Unfortunately we barely have any spare time to watch television or go to the movies. We like to listen to music (classical music, jazz, blues, rock 'n roll, ...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jan & I raised up our 6 children to nice young people. Now we enjoy to play with our 3 grandchildren.
Now we also like to travel & to meet new people during our holidays!
Nicest view = the wonderful view on Table Mountain over Cape Town & Cape of Good Hope is heaven on earth.
We both like to feel the wind in our hair while we are biking in Flanders and we enjoy the autumleaves cracking under our feet while we are walking.
We both like to cook for our family and friends
and afterwards to sit next to the open fire in Jan's living room with a glas of wine/beer ;-)
