Overview
About Me
I recently started PhD in Paris so I'll be staying here for 3 years. I plan on using this opportunity to explore the Schengen area whenever I got time.
It's gonna be short weekend stays (Friday night to Sunday evening) in which I'll have to explore the city. Having a local as your guide is an advantage to save money and time instead of googling stuff whenever you are stuck. I live in Paris 17, close to many monuments and a plus side for Muslim couch surfers to have halal food.
For the guests, I will allow only female couch surfers as I don't have a separate room to offer to male guests. Secondly, my French is not so good so please don't expect much from me. I'd like to learn it from fellow French couch surfers.
So if you are willing to crash on a mattress, I'll be willing to share my food with you :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The locals always have insider information on where to eat, how to navigate and where to buy souvenirs from.
I, as a host, will share this information and if I am free from lab, will help my guest personally to see the city. As a guest, I expect the same courtesy from my host.

Music, Movies, and Books
Science fiction and animated movies.
Thriller books or else, the one with pictures in it :D
Any kind of music as long as it isn't sad :P
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I managed my friend's stay for a week in Paris under a 100$, including transport, museum passes and food. It was mainly because she was under 26 and an EU resident so most of the places gave her free entry (Le petite palace, versailles palace, Orsay Museum, Louvre Museum, national evolution museum, national museum of palaentology etc.). But it still would like to take the credit for providing her insider information.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn about people's life experiences and what one lesson they'd teach me.
